Pure Storage has introduced new reference architectures in collaboration with NVIDIA’s OVX platform, aimed at facilitating Artificial Intelligence (AI) generation. Through this partnership, global customers gain access to a framework that enables efficient handling of high-performance data, thus facilitating seamless AI deployment.
The alliance between Pure Storage and NVIDIA is poised to address the growing demand for AI by offering validated designs and proofs of concept. One notable innovation is the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Pipeline for AI Inference, which enhances the precision and relevance of inference abilities for large language models (LLMs). This pipeline incorporates NVIDIA NeMo Retriever microservices, GPUs, and Pure Storage for enterprise storage, enabling businesses to swiftly derive insights from internal data without frequent LLM retraining.
Pure Storage’s validated NVIDIA OVX Server Storage Reference Architecture provides enterprise customers and channel partners with adaptable storage solutions. These architectures undergo rigorous testing against major benchmarks, ensuring a robust infrastructure foundation for optimized AI hardware and software solutions. Additionally, the validation expands options for AI customers and complements Pure Storage’s certification for the NVIDIA DGX BasePOD.
The collaboration between Pure Storage and NVIDIA extends to the development of vertical RAGs, aimed at accelerating AI adoption across various industries. Initial efforts include a financial services RAG solution for expedited insights from financial documents, with plans for additional RAGs tailored to healthcare and public sectors.
Furthermore, Pure Storage is bolstering its AI partner ecosystem by partnering with software vendors like Run.AI and Weights & Biases. These collaborations aim to optimize GPU utilization and facilitate model development lifecycle supervision, respectively. Additionally, Pure Storage is collaborating with AI-focused resellers and service partners to streamline joint AI deployments for customers.
Rob Lee, Chief Technology Officer of Pure Storage, highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering effective platforms for advanced AI deployments. He emphasized the significance of validated AI reference architectures and generative AI proofs of concept in addressing the complexities of AI implementation for global enterprises.
Mike Leone, Principal Analyst at ESG, praised Pure Storage’s NVIDIA-validated reference architectures, noting their potential to expedite AI success for enterprises. These frameworks offer a shortcut to AI deployment, mitigating the risk of project delays and ensuring a high return on investment for GPU expenditures.
