Microsoft is emphasizing its dedication to advancing AI capabilities for businesses and employees through new skilling initiatives in collaboration with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and NTUC LearningHub. Additionally, Microsoft has introduced the Microsoft AI Pinnacle Program, initially involving five organizations—Certis, HTX, Mediacorp, Seatrium, and Synapxe—to develop real-world AI solutions driving transformative impact in various sectors.
In an effort to facilitate the benefits of AI innovation for organizations of all sizes, Microsoft is collaborating with Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), AI Singapore, and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in accelerating AI adoption.
Microsoft aims to contribute significantly to Singapore’s AI skilling and scaling initiatives, aligning with the national SkillsFuture movement. Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were formalized with partners, witnessed by Minister for Education Mr. Chan Chun Sing and Deputy Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), Mr. Desmond Tan.
Collaborating with SkillsFuture Singapore, Microsoft’s initiative is expected to benefit 2,000 SMEs over three years, delivering practical programs that equip them with the expertise needed to leverage AI solutions for transformation and readiness in the dynamic business environment.
Partnerships with the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) and NTUC LearningHub signify Microsoft’s commitment to innovate adult education approaches, incorporating AI into learning experiences and upskilling NTUC members in essential AI knowledge and skills.
In collaboration with EnterpriseSG and AI Singapore, Microsoft aims to accelerate the adoption of Microsoft Copilot by local SMEs. The partnership will involve industry collaboration events, change management resources, and customized AI use cases to help SMEs harness AI benefits effectively.
The Microsoft AI Pinnacle Program is set to enable organizations to realize scalable AI-powered solutions. Starting with Certis, HTX, Mediacorp, Seatrium, and Synapxe, the program aims to foster an AI-first culture, co-create impactful AI use cases, and build capabilities for transformative opportunities.
The program includes envisioning AI roadmaps, operationalizing prioritized AI use cases, establishing AI Centers of Capabilities, and incorporating AI enterprise skilling through comprehensive training programs. Collaborating organizations will also have the chance to work with Microsoft Research on cutting-edge AI innovation.
