Accenture and Google Cloud have announced a collaborative initiative to establish a worldwide hub for generative AI, aimed at delivering optimal large language models (LLMs) to empower enterprises in building and expanding their applications. The center will furnish enterprises with tools and applications to enhance operations, create new business lines, and elevate customer experiences, facilitating the widespread integration of generative AI into both intricate and routine tasks.
The offerings include a variety of LLMs, prominently featuring Google’s Gemini Pro API. This joint venture harnesses Accenture’s expertise in deep model customization and engineering services alongside Google Cloud’s GenAI technology, enabling the swift prototyping of services on Google Cloud. Additionally, it incorporates Google Cloud’s Duet AI for Developers, supporting code generation and completion, and grants access to the cloud provider’s AI-optimized infrastructure for training, tuning, and serving AI models.
According to Accenture, the center will provide clients with access to its comprehensive portfolio of AI managed services, incorporating best practices accumulated through involvement in over 300 GenAI projects. Accenture also emphasized its substantial intellectual property, boasting 1,450 current and pending patents related to AI. Google Cloud’s CEO, Thomas Kurian, affirmed that enterprises across diverse industries will benefit from access to top-tier technical experts and engineers capable of addressing their most intricate business challenges.
As part of this collaboration, Accenture plans to expand the internal use of Duet AI for Developers, deploying it to thousands of its software engineers.
