Cybersecurity firm Logpoint has introduced its Business Critical Security (BCS) solution tailored for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This new offering aims to provide organizations with enhanced cloud security capabilities, enabling effective monitoring and threat detection within SAP BTP. Applications managed on the platform will benefit from robust threat visibility features and proactive defense against malicious activities.
SAP BTP offers a suite of integrated services and tools for application development, deployment, and management. While it boasts strengths in database management, analytics, and machine learning, its central position in cloud infrastructures raises concerns about potential unauthorized access to applications and integrations.
Skr Ilker Birakoglu, Senior Director at Logpoint, highlighted the risks associated with compromised SAP BTP, stating, “Until now, SAP Basis Managers have had to access, review and correlate reports in each cloud system individually, which requires a substantial amount of effort, leading to missed opportunities to handle security breaches before they turn into problems.”
The Logpoint BCS for SAP BTP is designed to empower organizations to proactively address threats by monitoring security-related events in real-time, including logins, user geography, timeframes, and configuration changes. The solution aims to streamline the security incident overview, saving time and resources while avoiding alert fatigue through intuitive dashboards. This enables prompt and effective threat mitigation.

The Logpoint BCS for SAP BTP acts as an add-on to Logpoint BCS for SAP solutions, providing visibility across the SAP environment for effective threat response. Integrated with Logpoint’s Converged SIEM platform, it delivers comprehensive threat detection and incident response across the entire IT infrastructure. The overall goal is to enhance the security and minimize risks for businesses operating on SAP BTP in the cloud environment.
