India-based multinational technology services and solutions provider ITC Infotech has announced plans to acquire Blazeclan, a company also headquartered in India, in a move aimed at enhancing its cloud capabilities.

Blazeclan is renowned for its expertise in various areas including cloud migration, digital services, digital cloud consulting, and data analytics and insights, according to ITC Infotech.

The acquisition deal is anticipated to be finalized within the next six to eight weeks. If successful, it will enable ITC to bolster its global presence by establishing Cloud Competency centers in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and India.

Furthermore, the acquisition is expected to strengthen ITC’s ability to cater to customers operating in multicloud and hybrid cloud environments, with a specific focus on its partner ecosystem.

ITC Infotech intends to leverage the platforms and accelerators developed by Blazeclan, as well as its pool of certified architects, to enhance its cloud offerings, the company stated in a press release.

Sudip Singh, managing director and CEO of ITC Infotech, expressed confidence that the proposed acquisition would significantly enhance the company’s capabilities and enable it to play a more prominent role in its clients’ digital transformation journeys.
