Wipro has broadened its collaboration with Nutanix by introducing a newly dedicated business unit, aiming to assist mutual clients in expediting their digital and hybrid multicloud transitions while optimizing their investments in Nutanix cloud solutions.
The newly established business division combines the capabilities of Wipro FullStride Cloud and Nutanix Cloud Platform to enhance collaborative solution engineering and expand market penetration strategies. By prioritizing agility, velocity, and innovation, enterprises can develop robust, resilient, and adaptable cloud operational models.
This partnership is in line with Wipro’s growth strategy, which emphasizes strategic alliances and a multi-year roadmap to capitalize on the significant market opportunity in cloud infrastructure, IT applications, edge computing, and AI.
Tarkan Maner, Nutanix’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the need for a unified platform in the hybrid multicloud era to securely and efficiently manage applications and data across diverse environments. The collaboration aims to empower enterprises with intelligent cloud capabilities, enabling them to optimize their technology investments.
The new business unit is poised to address the escalating demand for hybrid multicloud solutions, modernized application platforms, AI computing, end-user computing, and edge modernization. It will offer consulting, design, and engineering services to deliver tailored solutions to customers.
Joint offerings encompass AI-ready infrastructure solutions integrated with Wipro’s ai360 ecosystem initiatives, accelerating the development of collaborative solutions and driving innovation for clients across various industries.
Jo Debecker, Wipro’s Senior Vice President and Global Head of FullStride Cloud, underscored the significance of the dedicated business unit in harnessing the transformative potential of hybrid multicloud. Additionally, it will contribute to sustainability efforts by reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint in data centers.
The newly established unit will cater to digital transformation requirements in sectors such as banking, healthcare, and retail, leveraging Wipro’s domain expertise and bolstering technical competency in Nutanix solutions through acquisitions of Capco and Designit.
Over the next two years, Wipro aims to equip its workforce with cross-training in multicloud infrastructure, hyperconverged platforms, database services, AI computing, and end-user computing to meet evolving client needs effectively.
