Check Point Software, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, and specialist distributor Westcon-Comstor are expanding their partnership to enhance sales processes using AWS Marketplace.
In this new agreement, Westcon-Comstor becomes the exclusive distributor outside the US to privately list Check Point’s cybersecurity software solutions on the marketplace. Covering regions in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, this collaboration aims to provide partners with faster transaction times, increased deal sizes, higher win rates, and shortened sales cycles.
The announcement follows Westcon-Comstor’s recognition as the EMEA distributor of the year at Check Point’s CPX 2024 event in Vienna.
Patrick Aronson, Chief Marketing Officer and APAC Executive Vice President at Westcon-Comstor, expressed pride in leading distribution efforts to empower partners in response to the growing significance of AWS Marketplace. Aronson highlighted the opportunity for partners to privately purchase and sell software products from Check Point directly through AWS Marketplace, facilitating revenue growth.
Check Point joins Westcon-Comstor’s AWS Marketplace program following the signing of the distributor’s Designated Seller of Record (DSOR) agreement with AWS.
This collaboration builds on the worldwide distribution agreement signed by Check Point and Westcon-Comstor last year, aimed at assisting partners in meeting the rising demand for managed security service providers (MSSPs). The agreement expands the availability of Check Point’s Infinity Platform, including Quantum, CloudGuard, and Harmony solutions.
Francisco Criado, Vice President of Check Point’s Worldwide Partner Ecosystem, highlighted the joint commitment to simplifying cybersecurity access and management. He emphasized the importance of equipping channel partners to address the evolving security needs of customers in the cloud era.
