Salesforce, the CRM giant, has introduced its Startup Program in Singapore with the aim of fostering growth and innovation within the startup ecosystem. The program offers Singapore startups access to Salesforce’s extensive ecosystem, including products, marketplaces like Salesforce AppExchange, mentorship programs, and joint go-to-market opportunities. The community-centric program aims to create a collaborative environment for accelerated growth and innovation. Participants will also have access to Salesforce Ventures, the company’s dedicated investment arm.

Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) is the inaugural partner of the Salesforce Startup Program, providing its network of startups with access to the program’s benefits. DISG’s head and executive director, Chan Ih-Ming, emphasized the collaborative tech ecosystem and expressed how the partnership with Salesforce will strengthen connections between multinational companies and local startups.

The program facilitates knowledge exchange through joint events and conferences, enabling participants to build and expand their networks. Singapore, home to around 4,000 tech startups and over 400 venture capital managers, offers a vibrant ecosystem for startups to scale, innovate, and thrive. As AI transforms the business landscape, startups seek guidance, expertise, and access to trusted tools and technologies to capitalize on opportunities for growth.

Salesforce ASEAN SVP and General Manager, Sujith Abraham, highlighted the crucial timing of the program’s launch, providing startups in Singapore with the platform, tools, and community needed for success. Salesforce’s SVP and Head of Startup Program, Sanket Atal, mentioned that the Singapore launch builds on the success of the program’s introduction in India in December 2021, with over 200 participating startups.

Valuehub CTO and Founder, Phaneendra Arigachetta, sees joining the program as empowering for scaling business, fostering meaningful relationships, and staying ahead of technological advancements. Cooby.co CEO and Co-founder, Wen Shaw, views Salesforce as a key ally in addressing the needs of enterprise customers and expects the partnership to strengthen their solutions for regulated industries.
