AI to Play a Role in Nutraceuticals Industry, India to be a Leading Player
A global industry survey conducted by Nutrify Today, the nutraceuticals i2c (ideas to commercialization) platform, has found that there is growing optimism around the food and nutrition industry globally. Nutraceutical industry leaders from the USA, Israel, Switzerland, Singapore, India, Hong Kong and Japan were engaged in the survey.
The technological advancements in the Nutraceutical industry will enable a more personalized approach towards nutrition over the next three years with accurate sensors possible via collaborations with expertise in the MedTech industry stated 26 percent of the respondents.
On the other hand, 12 percent of the respondents believe that profiling individuals and providing specific dosages and ingredients as per their requirements will be a possibility too. The food can be prepared by a convergence of robotics and 3D printer using lab-grown ingredients as per the biochemistry and need of the body at that particular time.
Artificial Intelligence is going to play a pivotal role in the Nutraceutical industry as the food matrix will be designed as per individual needs using data and algorithm, opine 15 percent of the industry leaders.
The survey also discovered optimism about India’s role in the forward movement of Nutra-tech and Nutraceuticals industry in the future. Around 24 percent of the respondents believe that India will be a leading innovator second only to the US.
Snowflake Reports Triple-Digit Q1 Revenue Growth, Eyes Asia Pacific, EMEA Markets
Reporting triple-digit revenue growth for its fiscal 2022 first quarter, data cloud service provider Snowflake continues to eye applications for its data cloud platform beyond its initial data warehouse target.
For its fiscal 2022 first quarter (ended April 30, 2021) Snowflake reported revenue of $228.9 million, up 110 percent from $108.8 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2021. Snowflake now has 4,532 customers. That’s up from 77 in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2021.
The company has plans to step up its operations in EMEA and Asia Pacific where bookings in the quarter grew 200 percent and 300 percent year over year, respectively. It is also sharpening its vertical market strategy to expand sales to customers in financial services, healthcare, retail and consumer packaged goods, media and advertising, technology and the public sector.
Juniper Networks Launches New Version of Apstra Software
Juniper Networks has launched version 4.0 of Apstra software, the intent-based networking solution acquired earlier in the year. Juniper Apstra helps organizations to minimize the time and costs associated with deploying and managing traditionally complex data center networks. The new software version builds on the unique multivendor capabilities of the Apstra solution to support VMware NSX-T 3.0 and Enterprise SONiC, in addition to previously supported data center switching from Juniper, Nvidia (Nvidia Cumulus), Arista Networks and Cisco Systems. The Apstra software also has new intent extensions and connectivity templates that provide a simple and flexible way of connecting attached systems. Additionally, Juniper is offering Apstra with award-winning Juniper Networks QFX Series switches and SRX Series Services Gateways in proven drop-in “building block” solutions that can seamlessly grow with evolving data center needs.
