Palo Alto Networks, a global cybersecurity leader, has made a definitive agreement to acquire Talon Cyber Security, a pioneer in Enterprise Browser technology. The move is aimed at addressing the security challenges posed by unmanaged devices accessing sensitive enterprise applications. Talon’s Enterprise Browser, in combination with Prisma® SASE, will provide a secure solution for users to access business applications from any device, including personal and non-corporate devices, while ensuring seamless user experiences.
The acquisition underscores Palo Alto Networks’ commitment to strengthening the Israeli cybersecurity ecosystem and its growing team in Israel. The integration of Talon’s technology with Prisma SASE will enable organizations to securely connect all users and devices to various applications, ensuring consistent security across the board. This move is in response to the evolving threat landscape created by the proliferation of distributed work models and the increasing use of personal devices for work-related tasks.
Talon Cyber Security, co-founded by Ofer Ben-Noon and Ohad Bobrov, was the winner of the RSA Conference’s prestigious Innovation Sandbox contest in 2022. The co-founders will continue to lead their teams as they join the Prisma SASE team at Palo Alto Networks following the acquisition.
The acquisition of Talon Cyber Security demonstrates Palo Alto Networks’ commitment to enhancing security measures and providing robust solutions in today’s connected digital environments.
