Unitree Technology has launched the robotic arm Z1. On December 20th, there was a discussion concerning quadruped robots and robotic arms, with Unitree Technology providing answers to many questions with their recently introduced robotic arm.
Diversified Application Scenarios
The robotic arm can be seen mounted on the robot’s head in the company’s live video. With such an arm, the robot can perform tasks such as picking up objects, opening and closing doors, autonomously pouring wine, fastening screws, and so on.
Intelligentization just getting started
Wang Xingxing, CEO, Unitree Technology carries significant implications on the robotics field with the newly launched robotic arm, and he explained the goals and future. Wang Xingxing made a splash in the robotics field with his Xdog design in 2016.
The robotic arm is essentially necessary for quadruped robots. It can be used to fulfill different application requirements of industry and family services. The development prospect of a robotic arm is broad. Xingxing said, “Both industry applications and offline stores are becoming our goal. The robotic arm is currently in a stage of rapid development with the evolution and direction of technology. But we hope that it will enter our lives immediately. The current problem is cost control and the improvement of intelligence.”
The Emergence of Collaborative Robots
The robotic arm is undeniably light and mobile. The omnipotent robot dog becomes even more strong as a result of it.
The combination of robot dog and collaborative robotics arm will be able to accomplish more and more things as time goes on.
Unitree is now looking at categorizing the partnership between robot dog and robotic arm and developing industry standards.
