This council comprises cybersecurity experts from diverse industries, including security, the public sector, and technology. These experts will collaborate with Commvault to offer insights into emerging security trends, cyber threats, and best practices in cyber resilience.
The primary role of the council is to provide guidance on various aspects, including shaping product development, identifying partnership opportunities, and influencing business strategies based on the evolving landscape of cybersecurity. Melissa Hathaway, a seasoned cybersecurity advisor who has served in top roles for two presidential administrations, chaired the council. Hathaway brings a wealth of experience, having worked with international institutions such as NATO and the World Bank, and currently serving as the President of Hathaway Global Strategies, advising leading Fortune 500 companies.
