Manulife Indonesia, an insurance company, recently announced the appointment of Ronny Tan as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). With over twenty years of experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector, Ronny has been a specialist in enterprise digital transformation, change management, mobility, artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, customer experience, and analytics throughout his career.

In his previous role at Commonwealth Bank Indonesia, Ronny served as the Deputy CIO and Head of IT Architect and Engineering. Prior to that, he spent more than seven years at PT Asuransi Jiwa Astra as a Vice President and Head of IT. Ronny initiated his career in 1998 with Bank Bali and has held positions in renowned global and regional banks in Indonesia, including Citibank, PT Bank ANZ Indonesia, and AIG.
