In the wake of a remarkable second-place finish by McLaren F1 Team driver Lando Norris at the Singapore Grand Prix, racing enthusiasts and fans around the world eagerly anticipate the reemergence of the striking OKX Stealth Mode livery. This unique design, the result of a collaborative effort between McLaren and the pioneering Web3 technology company OKX, will once again grace the MCL60 race cars, piloted by Norris and his teammate Oscar Piastri, at the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix from September 22 to 24, 2023.
The OKX Stealth Mode livery, which dazzled on the Singaporean streets last week, signifies a visual triumph that will captivate audiences during the Japanese Grand Prix. This striking design boasts the words ‘Accelerating Web3’ prominently displayed on its wing, underscoring the innovative spirit shared by both McLaren and OKX.
The Stealth Mode livery’s aesthetic is marked by its sleek and understated design, accentuated by black elements that elegantly contrast the team’s iconic papaya trim. It serves as a powerful symbol of the mutual commitment of McLaren and OKX to embrace change and innovation while relentlessly pursuing excellence.
McLaren Racing Executive Director, Partnerships & Accelerator, Matt Dennington, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “The OKX Stealth Mode livery received an overwhelmingly positive response from McLaren’s fans, partners, and team alike. It looked absolutely incredible under the dazzling lights of Singapore, and we are thrilled to extend this campaign to the Japanese Grand Prix, where we can further celebrate our partnership with OKX at yet another iconic event.”
OKX’s Chief Marketing Officer, Haider Rafique, echoed these sentiments, saying, “OKX takes immense pride in being part of the McLaren F1 team’s journey. The introduction of the new livery to fans in Singapore was a special moment for us. We are filled with hope that Lando and Oscar will once again compete for a podium finish this weekend as the Stealth Mode phenomenon travels to Japan!”
The unveiling of the MCL60 in Stealth Mode occurred at an exclusive media event on September 13 in Singapore. This event saw the presence of OKX’s Chief Marketing Officer Haider Rafique, McLaren F1 Team drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and McLaren Racing Executive Director, Partnerships & Accelerator, Matt Dennington, showcasing the strength of the partnership and the excitement surrounding the OKX Stealth Mode livery.
Further underscoring their commitment to fans and the racing community, OKX created a McLaren-themed fanzone at CHIJMES in Singapore from September 14 to 17. This fanzone featured a striking Stealth Mode show car, immersive racing simulators, exciting giveaways, and even included special guest appearances by McLaren F1 driver Lando Norris and McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown on September 14 and 15, respectively.
