NetApp®, a global software company that focuses on cloud-based and data-centric solutions, has announced the appointment of Andrew Sotiropoulos as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific (APAC).
With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, Andrew will lead NetApp’s business and oversee the company’s expansion plans in the region. He will be based in Singapore and will report directly to NetApp’s President, Cesar Cernuda. Andrew’s priorities include growing NetApp’s enterprise storage and cloud business, strengthening its partner relationships, and extending its leadership in regional markets. Andrew takes over from Sanjay Rohatgi, who will be leaving the company after leading NetApp’s sales teams in Asia Pacific for four years. Cesar Cernuda expressed his appreciation for the importance of building and strengthening NetApp’s relationships with business communities in the region. He is delighted to have Andrew join the team and continue the growth of the business as they empower customers on their respective cloud transformation journeys. Andrew, on the other hand, is excited to build on the 30-year foundation that NetApp has established, allowing customers to boost their innovation speed, decrease costs, and improve agility in on-premises and hybrid multicloud environments.
