NaaS Technology Inc., the first publicly listed Chinese EV charging service provider, has initiated a partnership with EEZI, a solution service provider that boasts an intelligent travel ecosystem integrating hardware and software. Both parties will collaborate on intelligent travel and smart charging technologies in order to provide a diverse charging experience and customized services.
At the moment, China’s new energy vehicle industry is undergoing large-scale and rapid development, and intelligent travel is experiencing a prolonged surge in popularity. EEZI, as a provider of intelligent travel solutions that combine hardware and software, is skilled in the design, research and development, and operation of smart cockpits, autonomous driving, software ecosystems, and user experience. As a new startup in the intelligent travel market, EEZI is dedicated to developing autonomous driving and smart cockpits to make users more comfortable while traveling.
EEZI OS, EEZI’s smart cockpit system, is a standout among the company’s services. EEZI OS meets the key design goals of human-computer interface, immersive entertainment, and intelligent cockpit communication through voice control, a central control PAD, a gaming steering wheel, and customized console elements. EEZI can break through barriers across service scenarios and address the different needs of customers for entertainment, transport, and shopping in a number of scenarios by doing so.
As the two firms collaborate, NaaS will connect its digital charging network covering all of China into EEZI’s charging operation and administration platform, EEZI machine, and EEZI App. Furthermore, intelligent matching for charging demands, vehicle scenario data, and charging service will be handled using NaaS’ cloud computing, intelligent algorithms, and big data service capacity. Because of the Company’s close partnership with Kuaidian, car users will be able to enjoy a novel charging experience that includes “charging pile location, navigation, and payment with a single click.” NaaS seeks to improve car owners’ driving experiences while also advancing the growth of EEZI’s intelligent network environment. Furthermore, NaaS will collaborate with Kuaidian to provide EEZI with a variety of services, including product promotion, operational platform development, and user experience, to assist EEZI in enabling new vehicles belonging to third-party vehicle companies to reach the market quickly.
Mou Lu, CEO, EEZI, said, “The current trend in the industry is software-defined vehicles. NaaS features a public charging pile network that covers the whole country that can provide one-stop charging service solutions for users. NaaS boasts industry-leading capabilities in terms of its digitization, resource integration, and user service. Thanks to NaaS and EEZI’s partnership, EEZI-empowered new vehicles for third-party vehicle enterprises can produce a diversified smart cockpit experience and promote deep integration between intelligent travel and smart networks.”
Liang Xing, Vice President, NaaS, said, “The first half of the new-energy vehicle revolution is electric, whereas the second half will focus on the introduction of smart technology. Improving the driving experience for car owners in a digital and intelligent way remains the secret to stabilizing and expanding the consumption of new-energy vehicles. NaaS is ready to keep sharing digital energy solutions, empowering the industry and partners in order to enhance the degree of intelligence in the industry’s energy supply. As NaaS and EEZI join hands, energy consumption may shift from Data Buy (purchase based on data guidance) to Auto Buy (unmanned intelligent supply consumption).”
By digitally connecting the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, NaaS, as one of China’s largest and fastest-growing new energy service providers, can provide a one-stop solution for charging pile manufacturers, operators, and main engine plants. As of June 30, 2022, NaaS was available in 358 cities around China, with over 400,000 chargers and 44,000 charging stations linked. According to reports, NaaS is also providing charging services to companies such as NIO, FAW-Volkswagen, Li Auto, and VOYAH.
