Global lifestyle, health & wellness brand Modere has welcomed Guy Thier as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective October 30, 2023. The appointment aims to bolster the company’s e-commerce and digital transaction platforms, further advancing its mission to deliver clean and effective health and wellness products.
Mr. Thier brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the field of IT and digital marketing within the consumer health and wellness sector. His career is characterized by his ability to devise innovative information technology and social marketing strategies that drive business growth. Most recently, Mr. Thier served as the Chief Information Officer and interim Global Chief Marketing Officer at Cutera, a renowned provider of aesthetic and dermatology solutions. During his tenure at Cutera, he played a pivotal role in establishing the IT team that supported the company’s consumer-centric growth strategy.
Prior to his time at Cutera, Mr. Thier held notable positions, including Chief Information Officer, Chief Digital Officer, and Chief Operations Officer at Arbonne International, a global leader in personal care, nutrition, beauty, and wellness products, as well as at Bally Total Fitness. At Arbonne International, his contributions were particularly influential in the development of a cutting-edge global e-commerce website and a robust backend system, leading to substantial revenue growth and organizational expansion.
Mr. Thier holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science from Lewis University and an executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
