MioTech, the AI-based sustainability data and technology provider, has announced the appointment of finance veteran Jack Lin as President effective immediately. With over 20 years of experience and leadership in the financial industry, Lin will provide MioTech with further depth and strategic guidance to accelerate international growth and innovation plans.
Jack Lin previously served as Managing Director and Head of APAC Client Coverage at MSCI, a global index, ESG, and portfolio analytics provider. He also served on the Global Executive Committee of MSCI. Prior to joining MSCI, Lin was a member of the Asia regional senior management team of Amundi, one of the world’s largest investment managers by assets under management, which acquired Pioneer Investments, where Lin was the longtime Head of Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. He spent decades leading and managing teams in the global asset management industry, including roles as Head of Asia Pacific and Co-CEO International at Janus Capital in the United States and Managing Director in Asia at Franklin Templeton. Lin was appointed as the founding CEO of Franklin Templeton Sealand Fund Management, one of China’s first Sino-Foreign JV Asset Management firms, by Franklin Templeton in 2003. Lin has assisted Franklin Templeton in establishing operations in countries such as Japan, Vietnam, China, and Korea since 1994.
Lin will provide visionary and strategic leadership at MioTech, as well as drive expansion across multiple markets. Lin will also lead key partnerships and enhance MioTech’s green finance offerings to financial institutions as the company expands its pipeline.
