Manulife has launched ManuAcademy, a new learning platform for its 60,000 insurance advisors in Vietnam and will soon launch the platform in four other markets in Asia. The latest digital tool, available via a mobile app and website, facilitates learning while also accelerating the further expansion and digitization of Manulife’s agency force.
ManuAcademy, a mobile-first learning management system, assists advisors at all stages of their careers, from onboarding to learning to match the best insurance products to a customer’s health, retirement, and protection needs.
The AI-powered new learning platform automatically delivers personalized information to various advisors wherever they are. It also uses gaming and rewards to encourage long-term participation and engagement. Advisors can join small private communities on ManuAcademy to ask questions and get fast feedback as they learn how to better analyze customer needs and make their lives better every day.
Over 60,000 insurance advisors in Vietnam now have access to ManuAcademy. The platform is currently being rolled out in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines, where it will support the learning and development journeys of over 88,000 advisers.
Manulife will have more than 119,000 agents by 2021. Women account for 71 percent of total agency employees. The number of Manulife agents who are members of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) has also increased from roughly 3,600 in 2019 to more than 6,000 agents by 2021.
