Dynatrace, a cybersecurity solutions provider, has appointed James McCready as its new Vice President for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). McCready takes over the role previously held by Maurizio Garavello, who now serves as Senior VP for Asia Pacific (APAC) at Eptura. Based in Singapore, McCready will be responsible for shaping Dynatrace’s growth strategy in the region, focusing on providing customers with observability, security, business analytics, and automation solutions.

Expressing his commitment to Dynatrace’s mission, McCready emphasized the company’s dedication to offering the best technology to assist organizations in optimizing cloud costs, improving data observability, and reducing their carbon footprint. He looks forward to empowering organizations across the APJ region to drive digital transformation on a large scale and facilitate faster and more efficient software development and operation.

James McCready brings over 25 years of sales management and leadership experience to his new role at Dynatrace. Previously, he served as the Vice President and Managing Director at ServiceNow. His career also includes roles as Japan President at Adobe, as well as positions at EMC Corporation and Dell, where he held multiple senior leadership roles for more than two decades. The appointment of McCready aligns with Dynatrace’s strategic focus on enhancing its presence and services in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
