Airbus and INFODAS have a history of providing top-tier solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of their clients. The completion of the transaction is contingent upon customary regulatory approvals and is anticipated to be finalized by the conclusion of 2024.

This acquisition aligns with Airbus’ strategic goal to bolster its cybersecurity portfolio, benefiting its European and global clientele. Given the escalating cyber threats and the growing digitalization and connectivity of products and systems, cybersecurity plays a crucial role in Airbus’ advancement. Over recent years, the company has continuously enhanced its cybersecurity capabilities and expertise, ensuring optimal protection for its products, operations, customers, and ecosystem, including significant programs such as the Future Combat Air System (FCAS).

INFODAS has been actively involved in developing cybersecurity products and offering IT- and cybersecurity consulting services in the public sector, including Defence and Critical Infrastructure, for five decades. The company holds certifications from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) as an IT security service provider in information system auditing, consulting, and penetration testing. Its product portfolio encompasses cross-domain solutions such as Security Gateways, Data Diodes, Data Classification Service, and patch management for isolated networks. INFODAS’ products feature a security-by-design architecture and are accredited up to GEHEIM level for Germany, NATO SECRET, and EU SECRET. They are also certified in accordance with Common Criteria and possess other country-specific accreditations.
