DXC Technology has promoted Kylie Watson, who previously served as the security lead for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), to oversee operations in the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions. Now based in Sydney, Watson’s new role entails assisting DXC’s customers across APAC and MEA in bolstering their cyber defenses through advisory and managed security services.
Having joined DXC earlier this year as the head of security for A/NZ, Watson brings with her a wealth of experience, including a stint as a partner at PwC Australia, where she specialized in cyber security and digital trust.
With a background in the Australian Army and over two decades of experience in various IT roles spanning Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand, Watson has held leadership positions at prominent companies such as SAP, Deloitte, HP, and IBM.
Expressing enthusiasm about her new role, Watson stated her confidence in DXC’s ability to deliver expert services and threat intelligence to customers, emphasizing the importance of implementing effective cyber resilience strategies.
