Building upon their existing partnership initiated in 2021, BreadTalk has been collaborating closely with Kyndryl to develop an efficient data management system designed to oversee critical workflows.

The latest undertaking represents a significant step forward as BreadTalk Group endeavors to craft a cloud strategy geared toward modernizing its data infrastructure. The primary objectives are to identify the most suitable tech stack and establish a robust foundation that promises to enhance workforce efficiency, bolster security measures, and facilitate operational control. Lim Eng Thai, Vice President of Information Technology at BreadTalk Group, emphasized the group’s commitment to this modernization effort, guided by Kyndryl’s expertise and powered by AWS technologies. The ultimate goal is to create added value for both customers and employees.

As part of this transformation journey, BreadTalk Group has successfully migrated its workloads to the AWS cloud, aligning with its evolving IT strategy.

Founded in 2000 as a bakery brand in Singapore, BreadTalk has evolved to operate an extensive network of approximately 700 outlets across 16 markets worldwide. These markets include Singapore, Greater China, Thailand, Malaysia, India, and the United Kingdom.
