Keeper Security Integrates Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) with ServiceNow to Enhance Security

Keeper Security, a leading provider of zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity software, has announced the integration of Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) with ServiceNow.

Keeper Security, a leading provider of zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity software, has announced the integration of Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM) with ServiceNow. This partnership offers enterprises an efficient and secure solution to manage and protect their sensitive information.

KSM, Keeper’s platform for securing infrastructure secrets like API keys, database passwords, certificates, and more, plays a crucial role in eliminating “secrets sprawl” by removing hardcoded credentials from source code, configuration files, and CI/CD systems. ServiceNow, a global provider of workflow automation, service management, and business-process automation solutions, is now integrated with KSM. This integration empowers ServiceNow users to access credentials dynamically from the Keeper Vault without storing any sensitive information on the instance.

Craig Lurey, CTO and Co-founder of Keeper Security, highlighted that this partnership further strengthens their mission to provide cost-effective, efficient, and robust cybersecurity solutions. It equips DevOps and DevSecOps teams with essential tools to manage and safeguard their secrets effectively.

Erica Volini, Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships at ServiceNow, emphasized that the collaboration aligns with the Now Platform’s goals and extends their reach to offer innovative solutions for organizations operating in the digital business era. The integration enables ServiceNow Orchestration, ServiceNow Discovery, and ServiceNow Service Mapping to seamlessly retrieve credentials from the user’s vault. Notably, no credentials are stored on the ServiceNow instance, reducing audit challenges and an organization’s attack surface.

This integration addresses the challenge of “secrets sprawl,” helping organizations avoid potential security risks and compliance issues. By supporting external credential storage for discovery and orchestration and functioning as a Custom Credential Provider, this integration empowers customers with superior security, efficiency, and ease-of-use.

In a world where cybersecurity is paramount, Keeper Security’s integration with ServiceNow provides a compelling solution to manage and protect sensitive data effectively.
