Google Restricts Ad Targeted on Age, Gender of Teens under-18

Google is limiting the targeted advertising based on the age, gender or interests of people under 18.

The company would also turn off its ‘location history’ feature, which tracks location data, for users under 18 globally. It will further expand the types of age-sensitive ad categories that are blocked for users up to 18 and will turn on safe searching filters for users up to that age.

Google said in a blog post that it’s also planning privacy changes across video site YouTube, standard Search, Google Assistant, location history, the Google Play Store and Google Workspace for Education.

Salary Expectations among Graduates Rise Significantly from 2020

Salary expectations in India have increased significantly since last year, unlike in other markets where the pandemic has led to a dampening of salary expectations among graduates. According to the annual global talent survey from Universum, graduates in India prioritize employers who offer a friendly working environment and a path to high future earnings.

Tech giant Google retained the top spot as the most preferred employer among India’s future workforce. This was the case for students studying across all the main fields of study. • Business/Commerce – Rs 964,422 (+25 percent vs 2020)
  • Engineering/IT – Rs 1,312,038 (+30 percent vs 2020)

The most prioritized employer attributes among talent in India are:
