Astra Security Adds Publicly Verifiable Security Audit Certificates to its Pentest Suite
Astra Security, a cyber security start-up, has rolled out an industry-first initiative of Publicly Verifiable Security Audit Certificates. The initiative will help Astra Security’s customers to boost transparency and trust in their prospective clients and partners.
This newly innovated feature is part of the company’s recent product launch, Pentest Suite, which is a turnkey software as a service (SaaS) solution that provides hacker style security testing for applications and fulfils regulatory compliance requirements for online businesses ranging from small to large enterprises.
Astra Security’s new pentest dashboard provides users with more options and information, such as 1500+ test cases, collaboration with developers, CXO overview, downloading the pentest certificate, potential loss-based vulnerability categorization, and much more.
In the current scenario, several businesses are working together to offer unique services to their prospective customers. However, no matter how big or small an organization is, they only want to associate themselves with a company whose security can be verified publicly and which complies with all the required cyber security norms.
Customers themselves are becoming more aware of security concerns and want to interact with only those businesses who have their security tested and verified. This makes it all the more important for the companies to safeguard the interest of their customers.
Further, seeing a constant rise in the cyber security attacks, businesses are becoming more self-aware and responsible towards fulfilling their duties to avoid any cyber-attack that could impact them. According to a recent report by RiskBased Security, in the Q1-Q3 of 2020, a total of 36 billion records were exposed due to data breaches and the use of malware increased by 358 percent through 2020.
In addition, a recent survey conducted by IDG revealed that “nearly 80 percent of senior IT and IT security leaders believe their organizations lack sufficient protection against cyberattacks”. These alarming stats highlight the importance for companies to partner with only those who are Publicly Verifiable.
Commenting on the launch of the new feature, Shikhil Sharma, CEO and Founder, Astra Security said, “The launch of Publicly Verifiable Security Audit Certificates has taken us one step further in our journey to keep cyberspace safe. We understand the needs of our clients in the current day and age, and we have yet again set an example of a customer centric approach by changing their needs into a solution.”
